    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    its to traditional here..all women go out in the night alone..all the clubs and bars are full of women.lucky to the few men allowed to get in.the policy is not put them inside..
    usally men today buy women flowers.. :)

    nop,no man day,we celebrate mother's day and i think we have some day for father,but nothing special..as mother's day that we the one today are the biggest.. :)

    Hello and thanks Dimitris,

    To me International Women's Day still means to "celebrate" and remember the struggle and fighting for Women's Rights.
    Also in honour of many women who made this happen, in history and today.

    So whatever this day is meaning to you, have a great International Woman's Day you all !!!

    for me and i guess for all the Greek we celebrate all the women in the world and not the ones in our country
    its funny day couse we all do with the exuse of the day what women want all day.. :)
    ok we do it all the year,but today is official. :lol:
    but really women need a day to celebrate,they deserve the day for sure.there are so lovely ;)

    I never heard of "woman's day" before. I just read it in the newspaper. Maybe I'll take the day off and do nothing !!! :D

    This is National Womenn's History Month ...a friend mentioned this to me yesterday.

    The week March 8th, International Women's Day, was chosen as the focal point of the observance. The local Women's History Week activities met with enthusiastic response, and dozens of schools planned special programs for Women's History Week. Over one-hundred community women participated by doing special presentations in classrooms throughout the country and an annual "Real Woman" Essay Contest drew hundreds of entries.
