    yes, me!

Saw her live in Buenos Aires (Argentina) a few years ago. She was amazing.
I just saw her live once, I wish it could be more.

I met Patti Smith after a show in 2007. I don't know why, but I was expecting her to be aloof and distant (she's a frickin legend afer all and I was nervously trying to babble a few sentences together) but it was still a very cool experience for me. She is a really nice person to talk to, even though it was only for a few minutes.

I called a friend of mine in Sydney to tell him (and piss him off because he's a huge fan), the conversation went like this, word for word:

Me: Dude, I just met Patti Smith!
    Stu: Did you snog her?
Me: What?!? She's older than my mum!
Stu: So? It's Patti Fuckin' Smith!

Maybe start at the beginning with 'Horses'. 'Wave', and 'Radio Ethiopia' are also brilliant, as are 'Peace and Noise' and 'Easter'.
