Has anyone seen/have this DVD? I've seen clips on YouTube, but I'm thinking about going out to buy it. From what I've seen from the clips, U2 was definitely ahead of their time with the stage. I am thinking about getting either this DVD or the PopMart DVD.

Are u referring to the Sydney show? That had a great setlist. I liked they way they moved from Running To Stand Still into Streets.

That show. First thing in the morning when the mall opens up I'm going there to buy it. Can't wait to hear it on the surround system I have in my house!

    Nice. That must be awesome.

This past week, they were all I listened to and I've become such a big fan that I need to buy their concert DVDs. This will be the first one I get of them. Can't wait!

I was at both shows at RFK since the last time U2 was there when Bono slipped and dislocated his shoulder and cancelled the show after 4 songs. What a bloody mess that was on that Sunday in front of 50,000 fans.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best concert film ever made!

However, when I watch the opening minutes of this show (before the band plays Zoo Station) I always wonder how many people in the audience knew they were clapping along to a Nazi propaganda film

I went to the mall today and they didn't have it. Luckily, they had a used buy 2, get the 3rd 50% off. So...I bought the PopMart DVD, Slane Castle DVD, and Zooropa. Watched Slane Castle and it was awesome. I'll probably order Zoo TV on Amazon.

ZooTV beats Popmart any day of the week. The setlist is better, the band seems tighter, and the way it was shot was better. I've only played the Popmart DVD twice, but the ZooTv goes in quite frequently for me. Well worth it in my book.

I need to get this too.

I've been reading the book U2 by U2 lately and I love the way they talk about what was going on when they made the movies or wrote the songs or what the songs were about. :)

Some day PJ should write a book like that.

I've been wanting to read that, but I have a couple books in line. First The Beatles, then U2. If Pearl Jam writes one, only the greatest bands EVER have done a book that can't be argued that statements made are inaccurate because it's coming from the people that made it possible.

I'd definitely love to read about Zoo TV.

After the Beatles book, you should read the John Lennon biography that came out a couple years ago. 800+ pages. I'm only on the 230's right now of that book.

I love music history, also. It's great. I love regular history, but only in school. Reading wise, music history all the way!

I read three books about Lennon. One by his first wife (maybe it was her autobiography?), another by Yoko Ono (that one was kinda crap!) and one about the whole band by a journalist.
