I wholeheartedly agree with your thought process.
  • I will totally be at the Friday Night Live show!

Oh, sure you will. But if there were a scheduling conflict with Pearl Jam themselves, you'd abandon us faster than the time it takes to play a cartoon sound effect on a guitar. Or at least I hope you would, for your own sake.

  • The NO CODE show just became a (very) unofficial warm-up for NYC-area Jammers:

This Lettah Ah Challenged woman can't make the 3/12 show but may well need the 4/23 show as a warm up before a trip to Abooba...I mean, Aruba.....
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

If they carry a decent beer list I'll play it.

(That doesn't quite hold well considering we're playing Sullivan Hall, although they do have a few microbrews, not the best, but better than the top 3)

Looking forward to meeting you and rocking out with you, not necessarily in that order. But do say hello!

Venues that allow for 18+ are about as close as we get. I am intrigued, though, by the idea of snatching the costume head from the Chuck mascot for a rendition of Bu$hleaguer.

I'll hit the "A" train to St. Nicholas Ave & snatch Mr. Cheese's head so u can do your rendition.

Thanks to any 10C members who submitted to a soaking (from rain, perspiration, booze, and/or other fluid) to help make it another thrilling night in NYC for No Code. To quote the agent who booked my band, "Getting people out in that weather is amazing and you guys got a lot out." And to quote a certain "drummer" in the movie Singles, "A compliment for us is a compliment for you." Hope we're all rocking out together at MSG or somewhere else along the upcoming Pearl Jam tour.
