Frightened Rabbit - The Winter of Mixed Drinks

It's out in the Uk and it's all over the internet. Their previous album, "The Midnight Organ Fight" is nothing short of a masterpiece and for me, it's one of the best albums of last decade. I've been looking forward to a new one ever since and it's finally out. Singles "Swim Until You Can't See Land" and "Nothing Like You" are great and very accessible. After one listen "The Wrestle" and "Living In Colour" are great songs as well. Probably won't be a good as its predecessor, but that would be nearly impossible. So far it sounds very promising. Any other FR fans out there? If you have never heard these guys check out TMOF as it's a tremendous album.

i loved the midnight organ. poke blew me away. that song is a masterpiece. downloaded mixed drinks, but have yet to give it a listen. i only hope a song on the record is as good as poke

Guess it was obvious I'd enjoy the fr gig with songs like theirs. Genuine blokes with amazing genuine songs will work for me every time,

haha thanks... it does seem like every time i make a thread about a band you post in it. this album is wonderful and frightened rabbit is one of the best bands i have heard in a very long time.

so jealous. they are playing boston and in april and im really going to try to get up there to see them.
