Quick question regarding Klausen puzzle

On the Klausen Cloak and Veil puzzle, is the puzzle itself signed/numbered or the container? Seen pics of the lunchbox like container but no visible signature....Thinking about trying to get one.

    The puzzle was signed before it was cut. You have to put it together to find out your number. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. You should hurry, because my understanding is that there might only be about 5 left.
