feeling the pinch of the holidays and the economy. Along with that, I'm not listing to my records as much as I used to. I do also have a large amount of PJ posters in tubes, some nice some crap that are not doing anything for me.

Need some advice, will I miss this stuff when I sell it?

I also was thinking of getting rid of my ten club stuff from the last 6-7 years. I got like 100 60's to present records.

  • If you don't use it, you probably won't miss it

    I'd say DON'T SELL!!!

Trust me, you'll be kicking yourself later, and it will be harder/more expensive to replace the items later.

A few years back I sold my complete set of the 2000 bootlegs. Needless to say I still wish I had them. Would I listen to them everyday? Or even at all??? Probably not, but the fact that I no longer have them makes me a sad panda!! :(

I say SELL, SELL, SELL. If you need the cash then life takes precedent.

You can ALWAYS buy them back later, when you are in a better financial place.

The only negatives I would say to selling now is the market is depressed and they won't command as high a price. But perhaps the X-mas shopping habits will give you good value.

    Good luck.

  • I'd love to buy some off your collection, but I say don't sell. You will regret it for sure.

Try to hold out as long as possible without selling. These will be worth more in the future and hopefully you will be in better shape financially. You will be sitting pretty then, I'm sure of it.

  • Don't sell. Speaking as someone who is trying to collect all of the PJ vinyls, I would say hold onto 'em. It won't be easy getting them back.

They're just material possessions. Do what you have to do.

    DONT SELL YOUR MEMORIES!
Don't sell. You will only regret it and then spend years and more money trying to gather the collection back again.
Would the amout you got actually make a huge financial difference?Remember what might be your treasure could be a buyers trash to further sell on for a greater profit.

I would argue that material possessions do not equal memories.

I recently unloaded some Pearl Jam related items at a used bookstore and actually felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I love getting rid of stuff I don't need.
