  • Wow indeed.

God I love this song... Anderson and Iommi are legends...

I wish I could show this to my Dad, he loved Tull so much and loved Sabbath in his younger days :(

This has made my day though... good memories, Thanks Chadwick
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

awesome that is big Tull fan I am
I saw them back in the 70's, had the very last row in the arena, dropped acid and for some reason was convinced Ian had 1 leg- the other a pegleg not sure what was up with that. Then I caught him here at Chastain some years back was very surprised he had his legs. It must be from the video you posted and how he puts one leg up all the time
anyways thanks for posting I enjoyed

Ian always stands on one leg on and off in a show when playing his flute :D I saw them when I was 13 and then again when I was 19... absolutely incredible live. I wish I was older so that I could've seen them in the 70's :(

I always forget Tony Iommi left Sabbath for Jethro Tull for just a couple of weeks before returning to Sabbath. That same strat he's using is the one that blew out in the recording sessions for Sabbath's very first album.

do any of you have any idea what they're like these days?

i was playing aqualung on repeat one night a few months ago saying its so not fair i wasnt born in time to see this live- and then by some odd chance tickets for june happened to be going on sale in the morning. i couldnt resist...

buying tickets and sitting on them for 7 months is so anticilmatic, i dont know why everyones always angry this doesnt happen more on here? if i buy tickets, i get excited and i want to go as soon as possible-its been like 4 months, i still have 3 more, by this point im already getting nervous this will be a repeat of when i went to see scott weiland two years ago-

no matter how much i liked creep in high school, there is no way i can ever again play that song without having flashbacks of him dancing around with bubbles comng from the ceiling while singing prince covers and a lot of people booing loudly...

someone please tell me it wont happen and the original link that didnt work anymore when i clicked it was footage from last month
