PEARL JAM has kindly donated $10,000 and a signed Melbourne '09 poster as part of a celebrity auction for Very Special Kids here in Melbourne run by 10year old Taylor Harrower after the death of her little brother Mitchell. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Limited-edition- ... 2c5359e2f3

Very Special Kids supports families throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening ...illnesses, from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement.

Purchase a 'Celebrity Canvas'

Over 30 celebrities including Shane Warne, Dermott Brereton, Kylie Minogue, Jessica Mauboy, Hugh Jackman, Kasey Chambers, Pearl Jam, along with other actors, sports personalities and celebrities have gotten together to paint individual canvases for Very Special Kids.

They answered the call of a 10 year old Taylor Harrower who sent a heartfelt letter to them following the death of her seven year old brother, Mitchell at children's hospice, Very Special Kids House.

These paintings will be available on online auction site Ebay from Wed 3 to Fri 12 March 2010.

    Man that is kick arse. I sound horrible in saying this, but no one else bid on it so I can get it. Can't afford much more than that and I am considering it. A signed Pj poster is my holy grail.

    She is so awsome and brave ......to be this creative and forward thinking is amazing at her age,she was on Melbourne's Today Tonight last night and the look on her face when they mentioned PJ's donation was priceless....

    They featured this last night on Today Tonight. Showed a short video of the boys. Asked the girl what celebrities came to the party and first people she mentioned were Pearl Jam. Great of the boys to do this!
