Is it really healthy to live in mental compartments?
I'm aware of how I push this here
hold that there
I pull this part out into the light
yes, I'll examine it
turn it around and upside down
but keep that other part in the dark
no, don't look at it!
organize my feelings too
drawers and cabinets
stow some on a shelf
I'll put that pretty one on a table
while confusing stuff goes in closets and trunks
folders, boxes and envelopes
all these containers help me appear organized
(is it really healthy to live in mental compartments?)
but I suppose I could pull it out
mess it up
just throw it all on the floor in the middle of the room?!
like a giant hill of leaves?
make a mountain?
a trash heap?
a treasure pile?
who's to say?
clear it out!
just burn it, burn it, burn it aaallll in a bonfire!!
