Alice in Chains: no love for Canada?

I don't get it. The only time these guys have played across Canada, to my knowledge, was back in the early 90's when they toured opening for Van Halen of all bands, on their For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge tour. I didn't want to pay the ridiculous sum at the time of $40 to see VH, and I've regretted it ever since 4/20/02.

Why won't these guys tour across Canada for chrissakes? I love BGWTB. JC and the boys, I wanna see you in the PEG!!!

Show some love for Canada!

Toronto is not cross-Canada. Unless you live in Toronto, because they believe they ARE Canada.

  • Not many bands visit many places in Canada though unfortunatley. Toronto and Vancouver are usually the only Canadian stops for many bands. Then maybe also Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal depending on the band. If you're anywhere else your usually out of luck. I saw AIC in 07 in Toronto and they've played here a couple times at least in the last year.

actually, more bands than ever visit all of western canada, including Winnipeg, because we have a great new-ish venue, and sometimes even cross-canada. AIC is one of the few bands I want to see that have yet to headline my country. I sure hope they do at some point.
