I thought that there would be a thread here about this, but I guess not....

My Penguins have been the only real mover these last couple of days, getting Jordan Leopold & Alex Ponikarovsky.

I like the moves, but if they can resign Leopold I will like them even more. Let Gonchar go, and re-sign Letang & Leopold.

I like Andy Sutton, but not sure D was where Ottawa really needed improvements?

Where is Whitney going? Vokoun? Horton? Hamhuis?

What are your teams' needs?

    HABS MAKE A MOVE
D'Agostini not much of a move.

Bruins trade Morris back to Phoenix for a 4th round 2011. That seems cheap considering last year he was a hot commodity...

No argument here, but he's no worse than he was last year.

Leafs flip D Skoula (earlier obtained from Pitts for Ponikarovsky) to Devils for a 5th round 2010 pick.

Bruins acquire Dennis Siedenberg and Bartowski from Florida for Craig Weller, Byron Bitz, and a second rd pick.

I'm hoping the Caps can pickup a physical stay at home defenseman. Players such as Steve Staios, Eric Brewer, Barret Jackman, come to mind but that's what most teams are looking for. Pretty boring day so far.

It'll probably end the same way, but who knows.

The food vendor union at MSG just filed a grievance because hot dog vendors can't be brought in from the outside.

Wojtek Wolski to the desert for Peter Mueller and Kevin Porter... Not quite sure what the Avs are thinkin' since Wolski was 2nd on the team in pts and led the boys in +/-? I guess time will tell, but don't like it right now. I guess the youth movement continues in the DCO!

They're spinning it as a "change of scenery" trade here. I guess Porter was a Hobey Baker Winner and Mueller a 1st Rd pick, but it's not like the Avs aren't in the thick of things. I expected Liles to go today, but not Wolski?! Oh well, we play in PHX tomorrow, so this should make that game a tad more interesting...

If they get Vokoun, it definately makes them the favorite out of the West. I think that's the final piece the Hawks need right now to play for the Cup.
