Curduroy used in Commercial

I was watching T.V. today and Corduroy was playing on a commercial with Harrison Ford in it. The commercial was for saving the rain forest or something.

    What a lame commercial. I can't believe Harrison agreed to do that. Really got the message across there Harrison. <---Sarcasm.

    Did PJ know that was the commercial when they gave priveledge to use Corduroy. And why is Corduroy even relavant there. Don't get me wrong...great song but kinda old. That was a bad commercial.

    Oh and BTW... couldn't agree more about the earring.

    my husband just told me about this the other day. except he simply said that corduroy was used in a commerical. my first reaction was what?! really?! a commerical? why did i not read half a billion posts on the pit calling them sell-outs and the like? :p then he said it was for some not-for-profit org or something, couldn't remember which one....and then i said aha, ok...now i get it. no uproar over that. should only get kudos! altho i'd not seen any mention of it. granted i was MIA for about 2 months, but none the less.....:p



    i like EV's rise up being used for the cancer awareness vid at movie theatres, and i guess also tv commericals? it's very fitting.

    Wow, how anyone could be offended by that commercial, is WAAAY beyond me.

    Harrison Ford is The Man - and a Pearl Jam song for such a good cause is awesome. And Harrison Ford in a PSA with a Pearl Jam song is even better!


    And oh yea, that is a Public Service Announcement, not a commercial.
