......Non regulars, I don't know if any of you have noticed an absence of Jeanwah of late. Well she sent me a PM that she and her husband while driving back after a show in NYC was in a serious car accident 2/8 and are still in the hospital. She has 2 broken femurs, a badly broken right forearm with nerve damage, she says if her seat wasn't in the reclined position she would've sustained head truama. She says feels lucky for that.
They appear to have a long road back to wellness as her arm may never be the same. She says she misses you all but can't pm everybody. I honestly don't know how she's able to type anything. So if you all can send them both some well wishes, prayers, praises or just about anything that wil lift their spirits.
I'll send them both (((((((Very Soft Hugs)))))))) once again.
Peace and love and get well soon

You and your husband will be in my prayers.
Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis

Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
After nursing my daughter through a broken femur from a forklift accident I have new respect for those with broken bones. I had no idea how painful and debilitating an ordeal it can be. So very sorry you are going through this.
I'm still in the hospital, awaiting to go to a nursing home short term, as my injuries need more time to heal before I'm accepted into rehab. My legs need another 4 weeks or so (I'm half way there) but my right arm is what I refer to as 'the beast'...my hand very painful even with pain meds, as my hand is almost unable to move due to nerve damage from a complication with the dual bone break in my fore arm. I'm hoping I'll be able to regain all of my hand movement eventually, and nerve injuries take a long time. Did I mention I'm right-handed? So my typing wont be as good...
My husband , on the other hand has gone home, and is doing much better. He's wheel chair bound, with 2 broken arm and a femur break, but has use of his hands and is doing well. My little girl is doing well also since her Dad's now home, as well as having grandparents take care of her. The way we look at things is that our injuries could have been much worse; we drove under a tractor trailer on the Thruway that was stopped due to another accident, which was as bad as it sounds. We're happy to just still be here.
And I'm truly grateful for the well wishes. I miss being on here with you guys, even if my opinions are different, that's the beauty of debate; we can all still be friends even when we disagree.
I'll try to get on here more often.
