I'm just wondering how long I can put off buying them before they sell out completely, thanks.

From what I understand is that they usually sell out in May, but I have also heard that this was the fastest that the 1st two tiers have ever sold out, so you do the math.

If you plan on going, I'd get them ASAP

I don't think they have 1 day passes for Bonnaroo.

I don't believe that Bonnaroo sells out. Last year they lowered the number of tickets they sell. I don't see it selling out.

That is correct. I think it would be impossible for Bonnaroo to enforce single day passes since Roo has stuff going on non stop through the entire weekend unlike Lolla where everyone must leave the festival at the end of each night.

In response to your question: YES. It will sell out. Look at the past couple of years.....it has. You should be fine up until May though.

From what I have seen, they lowered the number of tickets to avoid congestion, not because they weren't selling out.

I think you can wait as long as you want, but might have to by from a scalper. If you know for sure you're going I would buy them now.

I don't believe last year COMPLETELY sold out. If it has, feel free to post a link to the URL that describes this from the actual event organizers. I know it was close though. But that was last year. Who knows what could happen. As LukinFan mentioned, tickets appear to be selling quite quickly this time around.

I would save your beer/tobacco/various vice money for now and buy a pass if you really want to go. Alternately, just start putting money aside for a "second hand" ticket on ebay later. From what I recall from last year, the majority sold on ebay, up until the last couple of weeks prior to the festival, were only slightly above cost (face value).

EDIT: Oh yeah, and of course they're be people standing around selling them near the entrance, on the road during the first day (Thursday).

Bonnaroo sold out last year during May. The number of tickets was reduced two years ago because there were too many people not because of low sales. They have not sold one day passes for the last five years (not sure if they did before that. There usually are some people with tickets for sale at the entrance.

I think it is about 80,000. They sole more tickets than that in 06, but then reduced the number of tickets they could sell in 07.
