I don't think it turned out too bad for a 10 team league.

I like some of the later round picks... esp Brandon Webb, Vlad Guerrero, Jorge Posada, and Ted Lilly. Webb is a top 5 pitcher in my opinion, Vlad is BOOM or bust, Posada is as solid a Catcher as there is (other than Joe Mauer), and Lilly is a solid 15 win, 3.50era guy if he is healthy... and he is a warrior so I think he'll get most of that this year even if he is banged up a little.

Did you take Teixera with the first overall pick? If so that is not so conventional... but I like the guy a lot in the later part of the first round if available. I think he should be ranked between #6 and #10. (behind Pujols, Hanley Ramirez, Utley, ARod, and probably Ryan Braun and Miguel Cabrera)

I really don't like the Felix Hernandez pick in the 2nd round... I think he is a 3rd rounder AT BEST.

Rollins is a solid 3rd rounder but not a world-beater.

Jon Lester at #31 is a head-scratcher...

Unless you make some moves I don't think this team is a winner... JMO

i think Tex was pick 10 based on the way the other picks are numbered.

the nice thing about fantasy baseball, is there is always somebody in the free agent pile that doesn't get drafted that turns into a stud. just got find them.

  • I had the last pick of the first round. I always seem to have that. If I had one, I would have picked Pujols. Webb was actually an auto-pick.

 haha yeah #10... my brainz aren't werking yet today!

Teixera at #10 is nice. He will probably put up 40/130/.300... close to Pujols numbers.

Watch Webb get 15 wins and a sub 3.00ERA this year...

Not a bad team, but not great. It is a little early for a draft though... don't you think?
"hear my name, take a good look, this could be the day."
  • I wasn't running it and it's a free league. If it was a money league, I'm sure the draft would be at a later date.
