Not a seller or a collector, but is a vinyl like that worth anything? more importantly, do people collect SG vinyl? Mostly cause I live near one of the stores that will sell them.

I saw them in Vancouver in December of '96, a few months before they broke up. (which is kind of wierd, because I saw Nirvana in Vancouver in January of '94, a few months before that ended)...

anyways Soundgarden '96 is probably my favorite concert experience ever. I think I was still a pretty green concert goer at the time. Been to a few festivals and a few shows, not so much that shows have to be really good, to impress me (seems the more shows I go to.. the more I expect of a band).

the show was on fire.. there was even turmoil on stage. Apparently Ben Sheppard didn't want to come out and play but they got him out there. I think that caused some serious energy amogst the band as they ripped it up. Sheppard was a in a pissy mood.. biting his thumb (classical english version of flipping the bird) at the crowd...

the crowd was insanely friendly.. it was one of the friendlies most pits i'd ever been in.. every time some one fell, a dozen people pulled you back up.. some dude even lost a contact, and everyone made a hole so he could find it.

Fond memories of that show. I'd love to get a copy on CD or flac or something.. it'd be cool if they put out those shows. I've seen several soundgarden shows, 2 solo chris cornell shows, and audioslave at lollapalooza, and not one of them beat that '96 soundgarden show.

They are available internationally with a number of shops all over the UK. Top left hand corner, right under the 'State' thing, there is an international search
