Mike. Because he's awesome and seems like a down-to-earth guy. Either a studio to just jam with him for hours and hours and record it and to talk about all sorts of music or maybe in a bar in 2 years.

  • I guess if I started this thread, I could change the question... but why only 1 member?... I actually have dreams of being with all of them before a show. It's a very vivid dream where we are all just sitting around on couches, relaxed and chatting. Why? Meeting the band and actually getting to talk with them to get to know them is the only thing on my bucket list. I have 2 wonderful children that make me very happy and I have PJ music. Ed has always spoken to me, their music has always moved me, lifted me up, and calmed me... it is my church. I had a nearly fatal stroke last month (at 36) and when they told me I had to remain in the hospital for several days, I asked someone to immediately go back to my office and get my iPod for me so I could find peace in PJ music.

I would give almost anything to get to meet all of them, but especially Ed. His lyrics and his voice have moved me for 18 years now. I would love to be able to express to all of them how important their music has been to me my entire life. Some day... hopefully, just need to DreamOfAngels...

    Jeff. He's oozes cool.

(I like to think I'd actually pick him, but to be honest, it'd probably be Ed. I mean, come on... he IS Eddie Vedder)

I agree with this kid. Jeff all the way, but with a gun to my head, I take Eddie.

  • I have to agree that Jeff is so awesome but I have no idea what I would say to him other than I love watching him play. It makes me smile. Then he would say thanks, and the conversation would end. However... maybe we could get married and we could find other things to discuss later? :o

    Who: Stone.
What: I wouldn't even talk. I just want stories.
Where: A pub with some decent beer on tap.
1998: Barrie  2000: Toronto  2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Toronto  2006: Toronto 1&2, Paris, Milan, Torino, Pistoia  2009: Calgary, Vancouver  2011: Canada  2013: London, Wrigley, Philly 1&2  2014: St. Louis, ACL 1, Detroit  2016: Lexington, Quebec, Ottawa, Toronto 1&2, Fenway 1&2, Wrigley 1&2  2017: EV - Louisville  2018: London 1&2, Milan, Padova, Rome, Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 1&2, Fenway 1&2  2020: Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton  2021: London 1&2  2022: Hamilton, Toronto  2023: Chicago 1&2, Noblesville  2024: Seattle 1&2, Noblesville, Wrigley 1&2

  • My knee jerk response would be Ed, but I picture myself being so starstruck that I wouldn't be able to form a complete sentence so I would go with Matt and convince him that a Soundgarden reunion isn't the greatest idea right now. This conversation would take place backstage.
    I'm still alive..

first thing i would have done as well, sorry about your stroke, how bad was it? will you recover, i've known a few people who have had strokes, my mom, former boss both over 15 years ago, both alive and kicking today, a little slower ,but both living, please hang in there, don't give up hope, rehab will help. i'm also 36, considering my mortality a lot more these days, have taken it for granted alot in the past. trying to change, PJ helps a lot. also my religon, i'll be praying for you.

Thanks. I'm expected to recover. Apparently I needed a wake up call on life and the stroke was it. Recovery is slow. As if a stroke isn't bad enough, life changes are absolutely necessary when you hear your 7 year old say "what would I do if you would have died?" I have a few things I need to change in life. Remember every day is critical - don't let time get away from you. Which leads us back to the thread topic... I MUST meet them before I die. PJ music allows me to be balanced.

as an aside... Sure wish I at least had the Philly shows to watch on DVD while I'm out of work....

Well being a BASS player Probably JEFF...He could Show me some STUFF on the BASS...Go 'Skating'...Hmmmmmm this is Starting to sound a bit ***G A Y*** actually! lol :P
  • Of course my answer's going to be Ed, but i feel like a conversation with Eddie wouldn't go too well...not that it would be bad, but because i have no idea what i'd talk to him about...probably just a few exchanges of words back and forth followed by awkward silence as we both scroll through our heads for a topic to talk about, exchange a few more words about that new topic, lather, rinse, repeat...

but i feel like i could really get along with Mike well...kinda the situation where we'd probably go the whole conversation without pausing. i feel like he's really easy to talk to...not to mention HE'S MICHAEL FUCKING MCCREADY!!!
