AIC inspired

I caught Mike Starr on a rerun of Celeb Rehad Saturday am. He was listening to AIC on his ipod, said that was all he ever listened to. I have been sad while listening to AIC since Layne died, but Layne's mom was so inspirational, I made an AIC workout for Saturday and Sunday. As follows:

Get Born Again
Angry Chair
Got Me Wrong
Over Now
Heaven Beside You
We Die Young
Man In the Box
Grind
Would?
No Excuses
I Stay Away

Excellent
fuck 'em if they can't take a joke

I agree - Layne's Mom was very inspirational. AIC was a great band and I think your list is awesome, but my favorite song by them is "Down in Hole"...

The "new" AIC is coming to DC (where I live) on Wednesday but I passed on seeing them - all due respect to the new crew I don't think it could compare to Layne Staley singing.
"I'll ride the wave, where it takes me..."

"I know I was born and I know that I'll die, the in between is mine..."

The New Crew is not really the new crew at all. Unless you think Layne is the whole band?
William Duvall is the only "New Guy"
You really should go check them out live before forming an opinion
I have seen them 3 times with William Duvall and they have been great all 3 times
Saw them many times with Layne as well. Both are awesome.
William Duvall is in no way an injustice to AIC whatsoever
IMO a very welcome addition to AIC

I've seen a few live performances on the internet and once on TV - It's just odd to me to see them playing without Staley.

I felt the same way when I first heard they were coming back with a new singer.
But if you have the chance; check them out live. I think you would be impressed.
Their new album is a great listen as well if you haven't heard that yet

I completely agree. The Staley/Cantrell harmony is the best in rock EVER. Sure, they are still good, I love the new album (except "Save My Brain").

For anyone who doesn't own the AIC Unplugged DVD.....go buy it. Well worth the money. It is my favorite music DVD.
