Seems Tom and the gang are out to tour proper and with great opening acts.

    Bunch of new threads on this same subject the last few days.

    I will be there to see Tom play with Jim and the guys in Mansfield. Can't wait.

    Man, hell of a list of supporting act. Why is it that Philly is one of the only ones without one so far? I would be thrilled with any of that list.

    Will definitely be hitting up the show here in Philly

    Due to a delay in the arrival of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ new album Mojo, it was announced today that the first 10 dates of the 2010 summer tour will be rescheduled in September and October.

    The album will be released on Reprise Records on June 15. The band sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused and hope fans can make the rescheduled dates which are listed below.

    Additionally, the tour will add additional dates including a second show at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on August 1 and others to be announced shortly. Further information for all additional shows including Highway Companions Club Presale information, will be announced soon, well before the show dates.

    Tickets for the rescheduled concerts will be honored on the new dates. Refunds are available at the point of purchase if desired. Complete ticket, tour and on sale information is available at the tour page.

    All dates between June 5 and August 27 will go on as planned.

    Well that's kinda good for me. I don''t have the $$ to buy a ticket right now. I was trying to figure out a way to get a hold of a ticket for Verizon in June.............now I'll just try to save for the Oct. show. I've never seen Petty live but he was the start of my love for music . The first RECORD I ever bought was "THE WAITING". I still remember walking home from the record store (Roadhouse Records) with my single in a bag, couldn't wait to get home and play it over and over again :)

    saw them at the hollywood bowl the last time they were here but the seats were way back...i have better seats this time and i like shows at irvine meadows :mrgreen:

    I wanted to go to hear Tom Petty in Tampa but then it turned out to be the same night I was going up to hear PJ in Cleveland. :?

    PJ still wins over TP for me. :D
