It was awesome to hear it on 10/27! Gets lot of flack around here, but I think it's a pretty cool song. The guys tried something a little different here.

Someday it just may click for you. Thats what happened for me. My feet were up and my eyes were closed Sat afternoon and I was dozing off, the song came on. Perfect song for the situation. Be patient, it will come.

Haha its funny, I think I actually didn't mind it intially and liked it live, but I think I just kind of grew out of it and now I skip it almost every time.

I do have so many experiences with songs just "clicking" as you say....talked about this in the "last song you rediscovered" thread a few days back.

One of the many highlights of San Diego '09 for me.... Was initially my fav song off the album and was dying to hear it and kept missing it by a night, repeatedly! Then I just kinda forgot about how much I wanted to hear it ... and WHAMO!

San Diego was the fun version where he was looking to a fan in the front row to help him with the words ... and they both forgot the first chorus! Some lightness in an otherwise.....

  • Beautiful song. It's funny how fans will shit on this song and then worship crappy cheese like "Come Back" in the same breath.

    Same here.
Every so often I'll like it more than usual, but mostly I just can't get into the song either!

  • I think its one you have to really listen to.
First few times I thought that boom-chick boom-chick guitar pattern was really annoying and redundant, but now I love it. Great lyrics and writing.

I sure wish he would have asked me for help, I was in the second row...

I did have the "parachutes" sign maybe he thought I could not multiple task;(

Either way I think the song is awesome can not wait until next time I hear it!!!
