New orleans jazz festival questions

im thinking about going to the concert but i was wondering how long will pearl jam get to play and will they have a curfew? I was thinking about going and staying outside of the city and hopefully a cheaper hotel

    I've heard that the Jazz Fest ends at 8 pm each night, and so I'd guess PJ comes on around 6 pm. I'm with you, in that we are staying outside of the city. NO is fun, but this is a family trip!

    official schedule for jazzfest grids will come out sometime in early april i think, but history dictates i likely 5-7:30 slot to close fairgrounds saturday, check this out

    I would like to stay in New Orleans but I really can't afford it. How much is the cheapest people have found inside the city for a hotel room?

    We got a room at the Radisson near the airport for $50 a night. 14 miles from te French Quarter.
