Saw him, didn't think he would be the type to go to a sporting event. Good to see him out.

    All those yesterdays
    All those yesterdays
    All those paper plates
  • I just got an image in my mind of Grandpa Neil playing hockey. Then again, he is Canadian so he at least has a little game. It's in their genes up there.

Alanis did perform, but unforunately it was one of her slower ones (which is pretty much all her material these days).

Alanis Morissette & Neil Young @ the closing ceremonies were amazing. I didn't care at all for the other artists. CTV & many radio stations mentioned Rush were to play, but they were a no show. :|

Who the hell decided that Simple Plan should perform? And even worse, Hedley (or whatever his name is).

Love them or hate them, there isn't a more "Canadian" band then the Hip, and I am shocked and disappointed that they weren't playing the closing ceremonies last night.

The Hip, Our Lady Peace, The Guess Who, Rush or even April Wine. But Hedley & Simple Plan? For shame! Very shocked to see K-os & cew of misfit dancers closing the Vancouver Olympic games.

It would of kicked ass if Neil Young came back on stage and end with Rockin In The Free World.
