    Yeah Canada! What a game!

Props to Ryan Miller... he played a hell of a tourny and a great game...

But yea!!! Now I don't have to listen to all the Americans gloat tomorrow at work... I can just sit at my desk in peace and smile when they bring it up. :)
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
  • There were kids on my street with
'Honk for Canada' signs after the game.
    What a nail-biter!
    Phenomenal hockey from both sides.
    Own the podium, baby!
    Cheers.
'Cause you don't give blood and take it back again.

Congrats to Canada. Great team. Toews proved that he is one of the best in the world and deserves the captain position he has with the Blackhawks.

as a canadian, and a true hockey fan, i can admit that ryan miller was the best player at the olympics. it's too bad both teams couldn't win gold, they both deserved it.
hold your head high usa. for a team that was expected to get blown out of the games before the medal rounds, you proved a lot of naysayers wrong.

    and

congrats to the canadian athletes on making canada proud. 14 gold medals is amazing.

Sidney Crosby is the best thing to happen to Canada since Beavers and back bacon.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
  • In Toronto, the streets are flooded with people...amazing game, kudos to team USA...they played a heck of a game.

It was a great great game. I just feel it was an NHL All-Star game.

These Canadian players are probably flying back to their mansions in the Florida Keys or LA as we speak.

Well, most players live most of the year in the city they play in. You'd be surprised how many make it back to Canada in the off season. And even still, they were players born in Canada and that grew through the Canadian hockey system. Good effort USA, Go Canada.

Ya there is a big group of them that live in Kelowna BC during the offseason. Saw Jerome Iginla at the Worlds gym one day, nice fellow and my brother spotted Trevor Linden and Roberto Luongo in the summerat his gym.

Lots of em enjoying the lake and sun!

as a flyers fan, i have to hate Crobsy but as a candian i have to love him. of course, as soon as the game was over i have to talk smack about how he could not even wave the flag right. but everything aside, he really didn't look good for most of the games.

i agree , Nash and Perry were the best two forwards for Canada
