Agreed. I felt guilty paying $40 a couple of months ago, but figured it was a small venue. I had never seen them back in the day and with Weiland you never know when it's gonna be over for good.

To be honest, I would highly consider paying the money to go see STP. My only concern would be if it was going to be a good show. I've heard that Weiland is kind of an unbalanced performer. :?

$60 for STP seems like a perfectly fair deal next to PJ's $80

Absolutely fair in my book, the STP are awesome live! and in a small venue they should be even better!

Ticket's to the Halifax Metro Centre show last Nov was $67 bucks. A week before the show, there was a promo for a few lower bowl seats for $32.50. They still are great, but I hate the fn'ing blow horn Scott uses each & every time on stage! :|

thanks for the link! One of my favorite bands, it is a shame that it took them so much time to reunite :(

not only are tix for Chicago $70 after fees, but tix for Milwaukee are about 20 bucks less.

I bought for Chicago and I'll probably go to both, but that kind of differential on the same tour seems high.

Nope! :( I bought ticket's the day of release. Few day's after I came back from the Pearl Jam Philly Experience, I got a huge asthma attack that kept me in hospital & bed for a few weeks. Had to give my ticket away. Bro & friends had a great time.

I saw them for around $40 last summer... Good show. Honestly, these days, $60 isn't bad. I guess it's their recession trick. Less people going to shows, raise the price of tickets. Meh.

they are $37 in Sioux City. I think alot of it has to do with the promoter and venue that sets the ticket price.

I saw STP in Canada in 2008 and it was a great show. $60 does not seem that expensive to me. If you look at it like you'd go if it was $40 but not if it was $60. Just means you miss it for the sake of $20.
  • I was at the Winnipeg show, and it was around that price. I saw Weiland twice with VR, and his performance with them was 1000 fold better. With STP, he just stood there most of the time. Very little stage presence. But the music was spot on. We had Crash Kings for our opener. When I heard the East Coast had MadM, I was salivating.

I saw him in nyc last year on his solo tour... showed up an hour late and did this:

people were heckling him... it was kind of sad

Edit: This is actually a way better representation of that night. This pretty much sums up the whole night right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUmaqwksA3w
