Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

I've heard some pretty good albums so far this year. My current favourite is BRMC's "Beat The Devil's Tattoo" but these are all very, very good:

Jack Rose - Luck in the Valley
    Guanaco - Sky Burials
The Ravenna Colt - Slight Spell
    Eels - End Times
Midlake - The Courage of Others
    Beck - Oar
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
    (Tim Rogers)

I know what you mean about Beck, that's why it's at the bottom of the list. It does get better over time though. BRMC surfaced last week in the usual places, I'll definitely be buying it as soon as it's out

Right now? It's Jimi Hendrix's Valleys of Neptune. It's a yes/no gotta hear it a few more times thing for Beck's Oar album.
