I love what they do.. not what they "sound like"

Pj really stands out in my musical universe. On the surface, They don't seem to fit with my other favorites. My tastes are pretty eclectic, but the fact that I'm so into Pearl Jam really surprises people. I'm a musician and my music wouldn't remind anyone of the band.. at all. I think it's because I love them for what they do, not what they "sound like". ...

    PJ is my favourite band, but the music I write doesn't sound one iota like them (although, my new EP coming out I've been told I sound like Eddie-I totally don't hear it!). Another good example is Eddie idolizing The Who. I don't hear any of The Who in Eddie's music. Good thing, too.
