Yup. Recording now. Mike Ness said "So, the record, to me, is almost like the Dead Boys meets the Black Crowes or something," He also said it reminds him of "Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell", which is my favorite Social D album. It will be the tops.

    That's from this article, right?

Interesting that they are also planning on a Social D acoustic/stripped down record. That seems more in line with Mike's solo recordings (which are great, if you haven't checked them out). How much of Social D these days are also members of Mike's side band?
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

    Yes, that article.

I love Ness's solo stuff. The man can pretty much make any kind of music cool.

Last solo tour, the band was Social Distortion with a different drummer.

wow, didnt know RHCP were working on a new album. I figured after frusciante left they were done. I hope the "new" guitarist is good. Im sure he is though considering he apparently toured with them a bunch of times.

Ill be looking forward to new RHCP, MGMT, KOL, Black Keys, and of course the PJ EP (assuming it comes out)
