Make your random comments on whatever music you maybe listening to, thinking about or anything musically. No need to feel obligated to make them a thread, make this a place to voice those thoughts.

Here's some of mine.... if I had the time I would like to go through my 1000+ cd library and weed out music I don't listen to anymore.

    Are we ever going to see The White Stripes again?

    I quite like The Raconteurs album, but not The Dead Weather....

    I'm starting to have second thoughts about Back Spacer, it just doesn't hold up that well - there's quite a large gap between the quality of the stronger tracks (eg. Unthought Known) and the weaker ones (e.g. Speed of Sound) than on any previous album....

    Black Gives Way To Blue is the best album I've heard since Pearl Jam s/t....

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Oh my there was a tremendous thread about this some time last year before the album was released. The only square i was familiar with was the lower quadrant middle square Johnny Guitar Watson.

    I'm sure somebody knows all about that thread from The Porch.

    my random music thought was just now when I went on errands listening to the oldie channel
    "Apples Peaches Pumpkin Pie" came on and I knew, from the archives of my mind, all the words singing along. It was out in 67. I was 11. I thought that I really don't remember much from 11 but I remember songs

    PJ's *Got Some* opening riff needed to be extended and brought back in the middle of the song. A great riff wasted.

    My random music thought today is a nice memory too. My son and I on the back deck, beautiful blue sky, "not a cloud or chem trail" he says in the sky ;) then he sings a few lines of "Blue Skies" and there is a little bluebird sitting in the bush there adding to our moment. I sing along with him.
