Pure speculation but....

I think Band Of Horses will be the opening band for PJ in May. The evidence? Well #1 they have shows booked for march april and june. #2 they are also playing Jazz Fest May1st. #3 on their website they recently canceled a pair of shows opening for Widespread Panic on May 7th and 8th "due to a scheduling conflict".

    don't know but i hear lots of similarities in style to Kings Of Leon and My Morning Jacket. personally i prefer Band Of Horses of the 3. was just checking out their site when the tour possibility hit me.

    I like them don't get me wrong. I saw them last year at OSL and they were great. But they are NOTHING like any of those other two you just compared them to.
    I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...

    Love BoH. Big fan of those two albums. I'd love to have them as an opener. They wouldn't be better than My Morning Jacket, but definitely better than Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.

    I've seen BOH 3 times now and only in one show was the quality questionable. Even in that one questionable show, once his voice warmed up, they knocked it out of the park at the end. Last year at Outside Lands they were money from the get go.

    There is a slight Seattle connection as well.

    Should this be true, my day just got even better.

    Yup the seattle connection is they released their first 2 albums through Sub Pop. But I hear they will be releasing a new album in May through a major label.
