I was surprised a number of years ago when I moved from NJ to VA that the local school one day, in the middle of a sunny day, sent everyone home at 12noon for the threat of snow. ...no snow came.

Just some states don't play around with snow. I remember our buses in NY drove thru anything, so we "hitched" on the back of the school bus, dragging our feet in the snow, after the bus dropped us off from school.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Flagg, did you have any problems with power outages? We lost electricity for 76 hours.

My first winter not in Texas and I miss all this snow. I think I'd be tired of it at this point too though. I don't remember Texas ever having a winter like this one.
Twenty-ten watch it go to fire!!!
  • the thing i love the most about winter is eating the yellow snow...mmmmmmm
