For some reason, fan photos from the three "Boston experiment" shows are very hard to come by...

maybe becuase the "disposable camera only" rule was in place (and enforced) at Great woods for the

7/11/03 shows..

The photo in my avatar was recently discovered on "Flicker" and it captures the seconds leading up to the famous Mike / Ed Lean in "State of Love and Trust" solo from my 7/2/03 show...

I swear it was taken from virtually the row as I was standing, since the 10C hooked me up with 5th row center.

Its like witnessing a fleeting throw-back / homage to the early club days when these two wrestle up into the lean...talk about TRUST, neither Ed nor Mikey ever fall down..!

so keep an eye out this coming tour.. you never know what will happen onstage...

    I always think that Mike is the "guitar" version of Ed's sobs when they perform "Black" too..
