QOTSA/White Stripes fans.....

...you'll love this band. They are from Edmonton, AB, and they are called the Murder City Sparrows. I saw them opening for another band I went to see, and I immediately bought their demo cd. Then their new record, Dead Horse Disco, came out, and I love it. I think the band is (oddly) on hiatus, and the lead singer Jay Sparrow is doing his own thing, but you should check them out anyway.

    I really don't like QOTSA. I don't quite like Homme's voice, and I don't like how his guitars sound on record.

    hahahaha. Yeah, I was blown away at how bad Homme's voice is live. Seen them twice and thats enough for me.
