On tickets to see U2 for the first time ever.

I know it will not compare to my PJ shows, but figured now was the only time to see them, as they are in SLC and I wont travel to seee them. Well, 2 hours isnt really travelling for me.

I'm not a fan and I've seen them twice, Vertigo tour and this current one at FedEx field. I really enjoyed the latest show.

    I understand completely.

Figured once and a dunce. I used to really admire the entire band, but it seems that they are all completely overrated in almost everything they do.

If PJ would tell me where they will be playing, I will surely let these go for cost!

I saw U2 a few years back, pretty good show but no desire to see them again. Glad I went once though.

first time i saw U2 was a few years ago... i couldn't help but notice that they weren't PJ and the crowd wasn't a PJ crowd

2nd time i saw them was better... i just tried to enjoy myself and not compare

so if you go... and don't think about the fact that they never change their set... and that 82% of the people are there solely because they heard a song on top 40 radio

    then you'll have fun ;)

This was @ a time when I truly loved the band. I believe I was 8 years old then & remember watching them perfrom on tv, Live @ Red Rocks.

I would go & see them just hear "Drowning Man". It's my all time favorite U2 song. ;)

    Should be a good time.

I have no expectations that the crowd will rival any PJ show, so I can enjoy the music and spectacle of a huge stage with out any problem. I know that I will be amongst thousands that have only heard top 40.

Kind of like when PJ was in SLC this fall. So many clueless folks. Keep running into stories of people that were scratching their heads when something like Bee girl started. They were like WTF? All they knew was Jeremy!

  • Hope you have a great time, but did you ever think of taking that money and saved it up more for some cheap flights from Wyoming to the East Coast in a few months...see a real band.
