Raine Maida Busking the Streets of Toronto

One Song Glory

Back in 2007, Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace started up an annual event where established Canadian musicians go busking for charity in Toronto. I just stumbled across this fantastic video documenting his first attempt, raising money for War Child, his personal pet project. This is truly special and reminds me that there are still some good people out there in the world. He seems like such a humble, down-to-earth guy. And for anyone who's not an OLP fan, his stripped-down solo album really showcases his songwriting skills, even while he's writing some fairly mediocre pop tunes for the band lately.
