Hi there!

Whose is all going from here? Me and the boyfriend treated ourselves to the VIP tickets (maxed out the credit card!) as he is dropping hints about popping the question whilst my favorite band since I was 15 is playing. Anyone else get the VIP tickets?

What do you get for VIP tickets? I saw the prices range & they are pretty steep at the high end. Ten club tickets i thought would be the VIP'S.

Please don't let your VIP pass fool you. Die-hards will be there up in queue however early it might need to be and CLAIM the rail!

I am a bit confused, it seems that VIP tickets are down the front, so where is the Ten Club area?

The VIP people have seats at the side.

The rest of the field is GA ... no 10c section, just early entry.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

How VIP can it really be if you need to buy them?

    ouzo its on me..
I'll find us a pub within walking distance of Hyde Park for this.

The crazies can walk on over when the pubs close up. At 11:30 or whatever.
115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!

Pfffftttttttttt. I don't need anyone to look after me at GA shows.

Maybe Darcy, if I'm stupid enough to wear that costume again in searing heat with no air to breathe and no water to drink. But even I'm not that stupid.

  • Another reason we got the VIP is that I get terrible panic attacks in big crowds so standing or sitting at the side is fine for me, whilst I celebrate my engagement! Cause at the Dublin gig we got standing tickets and my boyfriend explained to security and they let us stand up stairs. And at the last London gig I just had to hang at the back even though I was in the early entry of the Fan Club, I just couldn't hack all the pushing and shoving.

yeah, even if they have a 3 hour slot (Bruce Springsteen did last year but because he wanted it.. somehow I doubt PJ will request more than 2 hours), they won't be on stage until 7.30pm so plenty of time.

I was definitely tempted by the VIP packages and would have done it had I not managed to get 10c tickets. Watching the videos from last year, you get glimpses of the VIP seats in some shots, looks great, not too far away. Would be cool to be able to really chill out and enjoy the whole day, go down to the VIP bar, use the VIP toilets etc. etc. Fuck sake why didn't I get the VIP package?!

Because you would miss being with the crowd and all the energy (at least during PJ)!
