Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone can help. Bitten by the poster addiction for a couple of years now and currently have about 50-60 posters. However, i am unable to frame any of these until next year (when i finally move out!) - The trouble is, as i'm not able to frame them, i'm currently drowning in bloody poster tubes!

Does anyone know any good ways of storing the posters? Either flat or rolled?

I did buy something like this but i don't think it's what i'm after:

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Cheers

NEWSFLASH: POSTER TUBES ARE FOR MAILING / SENDING POSTERS ONLY . DO NOT STORE YOUR PRINTS ROLLED UP INSIDE TUBES. YOU'LL BE SORRY !

I also use the presentation case mentioned above,

but before I came upon that I used to use a flat acid free " bully box " ( actually for quilts and textiles )
its extra large & can easily fit ANY size poster ( including the extra large Borgata posters ) Whats also nice is that it stows away under your bed or in a closet .

I was going to ask the same question one of this days because I don't really like to store my posters in tubes, so thanks for the advice!

  • I got that portfolio from Jerry's mentioned above based on discussions in another thread a while back.

I am quite pleased w/ my purchase.

I bought too many pages, though. Heh. Considering I'm going to be framing most of them in the coming weeks.

I recently got something like this... It's amazing and very well worth the investment... I have about 100 posters and this holds about 60 of them currently. Nicer thing is iT's light and portable...and I don't have enough wall space in my house to hang everything anyway!

I'm with the others here, bought myself a picturesque presentation case... best purchase I have made in a long time. Great for storage.
