Reality for SNL Fans seeking old music

History, and common sense, say they will not play music prior to 2009. That being said, I think that Pearl Jam may get a special moment to play 3 songs (ie 1994, Not4You, RVM, Daughter) That being said, and being realistic, Got Some and The Fixer, with Amongst the Waves may be the best at attempting new fans/ old fans that watch SNL(GOAL). Unthought Known/ Amongst the Waves would be my personal faves and Force of Nature finishing it off(Personal GOAL). THEY WILL NOT BE PLAYING MUSIC FROM PRIOR ALBUMS. I don't personally know that, but I am a realistic person. Pearl Jam is not trying to re-sell Vitalogy.

    The band will perform songs from Backspacer.

    Well there is at least one thread predicting songs, one of which on almost everyone's quote is not a Backspacer song. That's what this thread is about.

    The fixer is old news.... I'm betting they will play just breath for sure for one of the songs. It's getting more and more airplay.

    I'm feeling 2 song's from Backspacer & 1 new song from their rumored new EP. Like what they did back in '94 on SNL. 2 songs from Vs (as they were still on their Vs tour) and one new song from their upcoming record, Vitalogy. :)

    didnt you read kats post and the the main news page. songs will be from backspacer. all you need to do is say check out kats post for those who think prior songs will be played ...

    I answered my own question, from "gonyc.com"

    Getting Saturday Night Live Tickets in Advance:
    Every August, you can submit your request for Saturday Night Live Tickets via email. Those who are selected for tickets will recieve an email confirmation and two tickets to either a live taping or a dress rehearsal.
    Getting Standby Saturday Night Live Tickets:
    For stand-by tickets, arrive by 7 a.m. on the morning of the taping under the "NBC Studios" marquee on the 50th St. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Standby tickets are available for either the 8 pm dress rehearsal or the 11:30 pm live show. Only one ticket will be issued per person. Please note that a stand-by ticket does not guarantee admission.
    What to Know About Saturday Night Live Tickets:
    You must be at least 16 to attend the Saturday Night Live show
    Check the Saturday Night Live website to be sure they're airing a new episode on a given date before you plan to wait for stand-by tickets.
    Bring a sweater or jacket if you're attending a Saturday Night Live Taping -- they keep the studios pumped full of refrigerated air.
    Be aware that the weather and the guest host on Saturday Night Live play a big role in the competitiveness for getting standby tickets.

    Just Breathe and whatever the next single is. I doubt they get 3 songs on air. Maybe a bonus tune like Conan that could really anything. It aint 94 no more.
