As far as Intro music before band takes the stage:
I know that it was from Brian Eno's Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks for the 1994 Atlanta show.
and Philip Glass's Metamorphosis for the 2008-2009 (present?) tours.

but what about all the other tours.. Vitalogy Tour? Yield Tour? etc. was there intro music. if so the same? different?

Thanks!

I think for Yield it was Red Dot or something and in the early 2000's it was like an instrumental soft version of Baba O'Riley, or something like that. I may be off on this though.

    Those both sound right.

    Didn't they do master/slave in 06?

i will never forget that sweet moment. american girl is one of the greatest songs ever written.

    yes
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
    "..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”

It wasn't Red Dot but a Jack Irons drum piece that was quite similar. They've also used Aye Davanita back in the day and The London Symphony Orchestras version of Baba O Riley. Master/Slave has been used a lot too.

Ive only been seeing them since 06 but master/slave was the best for me. And I cant see how any other intro music could be better IMO.

the philip glass one was cool, but what was the intro for the 09 shows? I saw the philly show so it was rocky.

09 shows had the Philip Glass song too

Master/slave would be cool, but the orchestral Baba was absolutely perfect..... Listen to some 2000 boots and you can hear it fading out at the beginning of a few of them.

The Philip Glass music was kinda a cool, eerie sound which built up anticipation. Orchestral Baba did a bit too.

1995 they had some weird typing of drumming. I have heard the bootleg from Soldier Field & there is some guy doing a live cross over to the show. Can anyone confirm this?
