Serenity NOW!

So, does anyone else just *need* to listen to PJ when you are going through a particularly shitty day? To wit: my commute to work, which normally takes about 12 minutes via bus, took 70 minutes including 45 spent waiting in frigid weather. FUN!
As soon as I got on the bus I just had to listen to "Unthought Known" and it made everything disappear, for at least a second.

When my husband and I get in fights or I get cranky around the house, he brings me my headphones and tells me to go to my happy place. (This is usually when I put on "Not For You")

Anyone else do this?

    Haha exactly!

This and Amongst the Waves have been good to me of late, but sometimes all I need is to listen to Present Tense and things get better.

I take the bus as well. It's about a half hour commute so I just pop in backspacer and close my eyes. Pearl Jam gets me through most of my days at work

I had that yesterday, had to listen to shit dance music & some of it repeated 3-4 times. Got in my car put in Backspacer to 11 & it never sounded better. Today was good no dance music sick day for the perpetrator but he should be back in the morning. Need earplugs!

My uncle died a while ago. I got the call first thing in the morning and my first coping mechanism was to get out of the bed & put on Man of the Hour. It helped. Serenity is exactly the word.
