Anyone else into these guys? I've been a fan of their latest album "New Wave" for awhile now. I think that came out in 2007-2008. I've gone back and listened to their first 3 albums before that and I'm really digging this band. Anybody else?

I picked up New Wave after I saw them open for the Foo Fighters a few years ago but I haven't gotten around to picking up any of their other albums

  • New Wave is actually considered their "sell out" record, produced by a big name producer (butch vig), on a major label (sire) and came with a catchy lead single (thrash unreal). Spin even named it their record of the year I think.

I dont pay attention to the whole "sell out" talk. I really like all of their albums and 'thrash unreal' is one of my favorite songs...I cant get enough of it.

I'm really liking what I hear from the new album as well...

oh totally, I agree. Itjust what happens in the punk scene, the word major label and sell out go hand in hand.

I only now a few songs, the one song i really like from them is Thrash Unreal (ok that was probably their biggest hit though). Look for them on tour this summer with Silversun Pickups and Metric. :)

just say them thursday night in ashbury new jersey. They put on a good show. They played mostly songs from New Wave which pissed off some of the audience that consider it a sell out record.
    Get over here!

I'm liking the new album more and more each time I listen to it. I'd love to check them out on tour, but dont really have much interest in seeing them open up for Silversun Pickups. Hopefully they'll do their own tour later in the year...

Yeah I saw them on that tour as well. Really great band.
I'm really enjoying White Crosses nowadays....think they're hearing more of the sell-out talk because of "I WAS a Teenage Anarchist" but its a great song and the album whips it
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
