Take a listen to Paul Banks solo record "Julian Plenti is...Skyscraper" , if you want to check out some recent material.

Funny i was thinking about them earlier today i loved the first two albums and did not care much for the third. They have a nice sound and were good live.

Will be interesting to see what they do next.

There are a few weak points on "Our Love to Admire" but, three or four of the songs off that album are my favorites in their catalouge.

    Pioneer to the Falls
    No I in Threesome
    Mammoth
Rest My Chemistry (even though it's somewhat of a steal of the Pixies Where is My Mind?)

Perhaps I'll go back and check those out again. I really kind of got bored with the band. At one point i think i saw them live 4 times in the same year. I should probably dust them off again.

Julian Plenti (Paul Banks) covered "Into the white" at his Guggenheim show. F'n sweet!

I was really surprised when I went to see them in Boston on their last tour. They played the agganis arena and the place was half full at max (holds around 6000 i think). Seem like their booking agent expected a better turnout. Still put on a rocking show though!
