*Rumor* Moon and Stars festival, Locarno

Went to a record store yesterday and bought the Yield vinyl (for roughly 30.- bucks, not too bad a deal I think). Anyways, the guy at the desk then asked me "You know these guys are playing at Moon and Stars, right?" Well obviously I didn't, so I asked him when and he said he was pretty sure it would be July 8th. Told me he knew a person with the organizers and they said it was 99% certain. So, a stopover at a magnificent venue in Switzerland on their way from Belgium to Spain?

Seems doable, right? I mean, it's almost like Italy... ;)

On the other hand, I have no guarantee at all as to how reliable the guy is (I've pretty much been to his store a few times and we never talked about much much else than "hey, good record"), plus the "TBD" date was July 6th, right? (Which has now disappeared altogether from the tour page...) I guess we'll have to wait and see...

    beautiful rumor...but, Locarno 8th and Bilbao 9th. That's roughly a 1000 km ride - would be a very hectic undertaking imo.
    still...the guys could do it. impossible's nothing. i called good news to get some info on that but the only thing they could tell me is that the acts would be announced in early march.
    what record store are you talking about?

    i already book a hotel just in case about 15 days ago when this comes up,,but cant happen..they cant be in Bilbao in time..they not gonna play 3 days in a row,8.9.10 july + Laura Pausini is a big Italian name for not be the headline of the day. but 7th is more possible,couse is to close,Venice and Locarno

    Yeah I also thought about calling Good News, but was pretty sure that they would not give out any information... Let's cross our fingers for March then!

    They only had one in store (the one I bought), but I saw the guy write it on a piece of paper, so I guess he will order a new one. So yeah, next time I go there I'll get you one (I'll let you know via PM before I'll go get it to make sure you're still interested and get your shipping details).

    The link I posted is still the line-up from last year, so no worries about Laura Pausini... ;) This year's will be from the 8th to the 18th, so no chance for the 7th either. :?

    Yes they do, but nothing rare - just the 2 Ten versions (the original and the reissue) and Backspacer.
