    He cant be worse than Schilling and he won a WS pretty much with the team on his back. I would love for him to be a liberal SOB but he is MadBum. He works his cattle ranch in the offseason and refuses to complain about how underpaid he is (they only owe him 30 million for the next few years) so he gets a pass from me on everything.

    I was just goofing. He's a ball player, I don't really care about his politics. I did think he looked like an ass coming in on a horse. I remember thinking Wade Boggs did too all those years ago.

    susac was playing here, with the river cats on Friday....I was shocked to see that Bowker is still in the G's organization :tired_face:

    just checked baseballreference.....bowker has bounced all over....hasn't been in the majors since 2011, but is still trying....he was the G's opening day first baseman in 2008.
