why not sell the posters and go buy a new one? seems like you have many high dollar prints you can easily get a nice axe if you get some cash for these

OK... this may be a stretch but I'm willing to make a trade: All my posters (perfect condition/95% are AP) for Gibson Les Paul Guitar. I don't know... maybe someone got their hands on one with the intent on learning how to play but never did and now all it's doing is collecting dust. they cost a lot less than $400-500 brand new.

Whoa! That's a massive call. While I don't doubt you have found yourself a good Epiphone, I've never seen one (and I've seen and played loads) that I would put in the same league as a real Gibson Les Paul. Unless of course it was one of the Monday morning or Friday afternoon made Gibsons. It's like saying a Squire is as good as a real USA Fender.

i'd say Epiphones are closer to Gibsons than Squiers are to Fenders. it's just a label, though. it's not the guitar that makes the player, in my opinion.

I agree. Those Epi's take some upgrades to be comparable to most Gibsons.

I had the nicest Epi I could find and it didn't compare with my Standard, and I have a Custom that the Std. can't touch.

I'd head over to harmony-central forums and wait for a nice used Gibson to pop up.

There are some that are DAMN close. Change out the pickups, and you're 90% there...

I have an Epiphone Sheraton II I got used for $500, put in Duncan P-Rails (So I can get P-90, Humbucker, or single coil sounds).. All in all those cost me around $400 with labour. I'd rather have the extra $1000 laying around to buy a nice amp. Again, not as good as a real 335, but damn close for what I paid.

And I've played some SHIT Gibsons haha.

(PS, one day I plan on buying a real 335... And my dad has the most beautiful Standard I have ever seen)

  • So SKELLER, you just want a straight up trade? Seems to me you could probably sell each of these individually and buy your Les with money to spare. Just saying.

That's weird... I can see all the images in your post but couldn't in my original (that's why I changed them to links). Anyway.... I just wanted to add that there are a number of posters that would go into the deal (Complete set of the Spectrum posters, Ames/Bros, and some others) that I would also include that are not listed.

Obviously... based everything I'm offering, I'm going to be looking for something like (if not better) the Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro Electric Guitarhttp://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Les-Paul-Standard-Traditional-Pro-Electric-Guitar?sku=581715.

If you serious about this, IM me and I will provide pics.

You might want to re-evaluate your choice of Gibson.

The Traditional Pro is shit. Most Gibsons are shit post 2003
