They said goodbye to music about ten years ago. If you're lucky, they'll throw in a video once a week.
    11/6/95, 11/18/97, 7/13/98, 7/14/98, 10/24/00, 10/25/00, 10/28/00, 6/2/03, 6/3/03, 6/5/03, 7/6/06, 7/7/06, 7/9/06, 7/10/06, 7/13/06, 7/15/06, 7/16/06, 7/18/06, 10/21/06, 4/10/08, 4/13/08, 9/30/09, 10/1/09, 10/6/09, 10/7/09, 10/9/09

The question now is, what does the "M" stand for?

    Misguided-youth?
    Meathead?
    Misery?
    Money-seeking?
    Misogynist?

she looks like an alien or a umpa lumpa

mtv has been dead since the first season of the real world. why mtv is stating the obvious now is beyond me.

she doesn't; hence the overly made-up look; usually it's a mask of one's self esteem

Nice artcle on the creation of that Mtv logo...The Mtv Story

It seems they're going back to the original logo by Frank Olinsky. I once loved Mtv when ALL they play was videos. You never knew when one of your favorites was gong to pop up, No You Tube hell no, Internet to hear and see new music.

i was 11 years old when mtv started...i watched it constantly...i still remember the channel number from 1981...28

even though i watched and enjoyed, the first few seasons of 'the real world', it really killed the channel...there wasn't enough money in videos and with the advent of youtube etc. the main demographic are watching videos online
  • it wouldnt suprise me if they phase out the VMAs soon.
