Inspired by the poll that Kat posted in the Porch, pick your 5 favorite debut albums.

Here are some of my favorites (I'm having trouble making a top 5):
Pearl Jam: Ten
Led Zeppelin: I
Arcade Fire: Funeral
Jimi Hendrix: Are You Experienced?
The Doors
Franz Ferdinand
Bruce Springsteen: Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ
The Cranberries: Everybody's Doing It So Why Can't We
Bad Company
Derek & the Dominoes: Layla...
The Killers: Hot Fuss
John Legend: Get Lifted
Wolfmother
Oasis: Definitely Maybe
The Stone Roses

Supergroups: Temple of the Dog, Mad Season: Above, Them Crooked Vultures

Ok, time to follow my own rule and narrow it down to 5. No order:

I tried so hard to like Murmur, but some of the songs seem so dull. What am I missing? I'm a big fan of Green & Automatic for the People.

Hmmm. Quite a good question. Hard to narrow it down, but I would say:

    1. The Strokes- Is This It
    2. Norah Jones- Come Away With Me
    3. Arcade Fire- Funeral
    4. MGMT- Oracular Spectacular
    5. Stevie Ray Vaughan- Texas Flood
