I guess I won't have to worry about being able to buy one tomorrow.
It must be in the eye of the beholder. I really like this poster. It was done by Tom Tomorrow so I think it has a similar feel to the Backspacer artwork... really bright colors and some neat Chicago features on there. The "monster" in the picture is actually based on a famous 50-foot-tall Picasso sculpture that sits at Daley Center Plaza in Chicago. You can also see the Chicago skyline in the background of the poster.
If you're not familiar with Chicago, maybe I could understand disappointment. Having been to Chicago dozens of time in my life, I loved this poster.

I agree I was happy to see this as a gig poster for a show I was at, great city specific poster by a great artist
I thought he incorporated themes of Chicago really well in the poster
the colors are a bit wacky but it is done like a comic strip... works
