That line up is IH MY GOD amazing.
  • Allman Brothers Band, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Doyle Bramhall II, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Keb' Mo, Robert Cray, Robert Randolph, Sheryl Crow, Steve Winwood and ZZ Top in one day for $120 bucks? This should be a no-brainer for the good folks in Chicagoland.

Im kinda talking myself into going actually...

Well. I think it is an incredible lineup, and I would love to see that show...

But it isn't really much new. He's had pretty much all those people at a Crossroads Festival before. Maybe I'm just being crotchety. But from the perspective of someone who will only buy the DVD... I'm not sure I'm getting much new.
All the rusted signs, we ignore throughout our lives, choosing the shiny ones instead...

And he who forgets, will be destined to remember...
  • sheryl crow? is there something I don't know about her?
-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time

Yeah, she's got a boatload of talent. We saw her at Tanglewood last year with James Taylor and Yo Yo Ma and we were all blown away by her passion and power. She has actually gotten better with age. She's in her 40's and still rocks. Solid guitarist and a fantastic voice. She looks amazing too.

thinkin about goin...i went in '07 and it kicked some major ass. yes, a lot of the acts are repeats, but you can't compare it to buying a dvd. if you're a fan of the blues you really need to check it out..

the field is GA and the rest is all seated. Not sure on the price difference in seating (the gf bought tix last time around) but i would try and go for the GA if possible.
