    blockbuster deal!!

though i think your giving up more. whats ur rotation look like w/o bucholz and hamels?

yeah ... it all depends on where crawford ends up ... i was already leading SB's so i thought i could give that up ...

honestly, my main motivation was getting rid of red sox players on my team ... hahahaha ... i made the deal and then flipped howard and markakis for sabathia and carlos quentin ...

all in all ... i've moved up in my pool but that can just be some guys getting hot ...

my rotation now basically relies on cliff lee, cc. sabathia and kyle lohse ... i got stauffer too who's pitching great but is getting no run support ...

Crawford has to improve, can't get any worse.

ok, in my league pitchers is where it's at. U play 5 SP and 2 RP. U get a ton of pts for a great outing, but u could potentially get negative pts for a shitty one. A strong rotation takes u a long way....

definitely ... pitching is problematic for me ... cause we carry 13 pitching spots with Hlds, ERA and WHIP as categories ... i had some guys get rocked early and their ERA's haven't come down ... guys like Soriano and Soria ...

i took a flyer on peavy ... won't start him today but hopefully, he can gain back some form in a month or so ...

Not sure if you use yahoo or would consider but they give the commish the option to take over a team. We have a rule if you are inactive for 2 weeks and have not been in touch with us we take over your team and give it to someoen else to play. We've never had to do that i've been playign with the same group since 99 and we are all pretty serious. It helps to keep teams from goign dead. You can get people in there that want to play.

that's not a bad idea, although i'm not sure how hard it would be to find a replacement manager mid season.

i think a small token wager is still the best way to go. even if it's only 10 bucks....that'd be 80 to the winner and 40 to second. or something like that.

    fuckin bums
